Enter the Dungeon Part 2 - What I Learned from the Winchester Brothers

As you walk down the corridor, you note the aging paint on the walls which, for some reason, were not addressed during the mass renovation of the mall that occurred within the last few years. No doubt the contractors involved were scared off, or perhaps they were never even told of the existence of this portion of the mall, out of fear of them discovering what unpleasantness lies underneath.

Enter the Dungeon Part 1 - The Myth Unraveled

Legend has it that somewhere deep within the catacombs of Shoppers World Mall in Brampton, where our shop – Stadium Comics – is located, lies a chamber which holds inside of it untold comic and pop-culture related riches.

This same legend also states that this chamber holds within it unspeakable horrors attributed to what the room was previously used for. It was nicknamed ‘The Dungeon’ by those familiar with the legend. We, the owners of Stadium Comics, have neither confirmed nor denied the existence of The Dungeon… until now.

The Obama-fication of Comics

It all started with ‘Savage Dragon’ #137.  The general public have been led to believe otherwise, but Barack Obama’s first appearance in a super-hero comic occurred in that September 2008 issue of Erik Larsen’s book. What has happened since that fateful issue hit the new release wall is a perfect storm of good marketing, mass hysteria, and cheesy gimmicks: comics have become Obama-fied.
